From fragmentation to a connected field
NEWNEI, developed by Roy Martina and Trinity Aurora, works with imprints: unresolved patterns that begin in our own story, our family line, our biology, or our culture, and live on in our emotions, beliefs, body, and sense of identity, below conscious awareness.
It is not alone. From somatic practice to trauma research, from coaching to therapeutic practice, different approaches work with these same underlying patterns. They often develop in parallel, using different languages and entry points, while pointing to a shared underlying reality.
The NEWNEI Institute was established to address this fragmentation: to build a connected, evidence-informed field around imprints, in which NEWNEI takes its place alongside related approaches and is examined on its merits. We want to be a reference point for anyone who wants to understand imprints, whether professionally trained, academically curious, or looking for something that helps when other approaches have reached their limits.
What we do
Make knowledge accessible
We gather and share knowledge about NEWNEI and related approaches across languages, borders, and disciplines. Members add their expertise, so the knowledge base becomes a collective resource.
Connect the field
We create the points of contact that let practitioners, researchers, and professionals across modalities grow a shared understanding.
Be the place people turn to
For anyone who wants to resolve an imprint: clear information, an overview of the options, and a directory of practitioners, so finding help no longer depends on luck.
Build something that lasts
We build the research base and professional infrastructure the field needs to be taken seriously across mental health, neuroscience, and human performance.
The Institute works in close collaboration with the NEWNEI Academy, which offers training and certification. The Institute itself does not.
Where we are going
A world in which the understanding of imprints is part of the conversation about human wellbeing, and in which that understanding is visible, accessible, and grounded across disciplines.
Where people carrying years of unresolved load can find their way to this kind of healing, including NEWNEI, without having to rely on coincidence. Where practitioners are well trained, well connected, and held to shared standards developed together with the NEWNEI Academy. Where research into the nervous system, emotional memory, inheritance, and human behavior increasingly informs practice.
This will take time. We are not in a hurry, and we are building deliberately and carefully.
